SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 3, 2026
Last Updated: August 3, 2026
These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the Medtrek Ambulance SMS messaging program. By opting in to receive text (SMS) messages from Medtrek Ambulance ("Medtrek," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these SMS Terms as well as our Privacy Policy and SMS Messaging Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Medtrek Ambulance offers SMS messaging to provide timely communications related to our services. Depending on your relationship with Medtrek, you may receive text messages regarding:
- Transport scheduling and coordination
- Appointment and transport reminders
- Transport status updates
- Billing and payment notifications
- Account verification and one-time security codes
- Customer support communications
- Employee authentication and account security (where applicable)
- Other operational communications directly related to the services we provide
Medtrek Ambulance does not use this SMS program to send unsolicited marketing or promotional text messages.
2. Opt-In
You may enroll in our SMS messaging program by voluntarily providing your mobile phone number and giving your express consent by checking the SMS consent checkbox presented on our forms. The checkbox is always unchecked by default, checking it is optional, and each form links back to these SMS Terms. You will find the consent checkbox when:
- Completing a form on our website that collects a phone number (for example our contact, partnership, or job application forms)
- Requesting medical transportation services through our online scheduling forms
- Adding or changing a mobile number in the Facility Portal to receive transport status updates (a number cannot be saved without checking the consent box)
We record whether the box was checked, along with the date and time consent was given, with each submission. Consent may also be given by providing verbal, written, or other electronic authorization (for example when requesting account verification).
By opting in, you confirm that:
- You are the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided or have the account holder's permission to enroll.
- You consent to receive SMS messages from Medtrek Ambulance for the purposes described in these Terms.
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods, services, or medical transportation.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with Medtrek Ambulance and the services you request.
You may receive multiple messages during active transport coordination, billing, account verification, or customer support interactions.
4. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier's messaging plan.
You are solely responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.
5. Opt-Out
You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Medtrek Ambulance.
After your opt-out request is processed, you will receive one final confirmation message. No additional SMS messages will be sent unless you provide new consent.
Opting out of SMS communications may prevent you from receiving important notifications related to transportation, billing, account security, or other services.
